Farmacy Skincare Created the “Honey Grail” of Face Oils

Do you have ultra-dry skin in need of an ultra-hydrating face oil? If yes, Farmacy skincare’s Honey Grail face oil might be perfect for you!

Did you know that during the 12th century, cosmetics were regularly used in medieval Europe? Me neither!

In fact, during medieval times, honey was a prominent ingredient. It was mixed with seeds, leaves, and flowers to create face masks.

From its anti-inflammatory properties to antioxidants that reduce signs of aging and nourish your skin. Keep reading to learn how Honey Grail’s “miraculous powders” will rescue your skin from dryness and so much more.

What you need to know about Farmacy skincare:

Farmacy Beauty was founded in 2015. Its creator, Mark Veeder is a gardener who set out to make naturally sourced skincare. While Farmacy Beauty is not an all natural company. They do use some natural ingredients.

Echinacea GreenEnvy is a form of Echinacea that contains increased amounts of antioxidants in comparison to other forms of the herb. Veeder prides himself in its discovery. And so all Farmacy Beauty products contain this ingredient.

The below natural key ingredients are listed for Honey Grail…

  • Buckwheat Honey: Known for its powerful antioxidants, super soothing and humectant properties, Farmacy beauty claims their honey provides moisture and nourishment for your skin.
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil: Regarded as an “almighty wonder oil” full of antioxidants and moisturizing omegas 3, 6 and 7, along with vitamins and amino acids; anti-aging, helps keep skin healthy (hair too!) and guards against free radical damage.
  • 5-Flower Oil Blend (Hibiscus, Rosehip, Evening Primrose, Crambe + Sunflower): Blend of nutrient-rich flower oils full of omega fatty acids to nourish, hydrate and maintain a healthy skin barrier.

All Farmacy Beauty items are also: paraben free  formaldehyde donor free, synthetic fragrance free, phthalate free, mineral oil free, and cruelty free.

EWG Rating:

I did not find an EWG rating for Honey Grail. However, all other Farmacy products listed on the EWG website are rated no higher than a 4! That is an amazing rating, especially since they are not considered organic.

Why Farmacy Honey Grail is so amazing…

So, my skin type is dry and sensitive. And, I live in Vegas. I wanted to find something to keep my skin hydrated in the arid desert atmosphere.

I found this oil to be very thick. Like, super thick. But, it can be thinned out by melting it together with your hands before applying. A little bit goes a long way.

Note: I just read the product description for Honey Grail from Sephora. And it is definitely not a “Formulation: Lightweight Oil”.

I find the texture is perfect for my dry cracked hands. I wash my hands a lot, haha. Farmacy does have a lighter version of this same product. If you do not live in a moisture-less area like I do.

How to use it:

There are several ways you can use this product…

Apply it to your face or targeted areas of the body as needed. You can use it in the morning or evening.

Or try working it through your hair to add shine and moisturize dry ends.

You can even blend it with your favorite foundation for an added “dewy glow” to your complexion.

How do I like Honey Grail compared to similar brands?

I like it much more actually.

It smells like honey but not in an “over the top” way. I love the fragrance.

I like that I can use it on my face and surprisingly on the ends of my hair. It helps to tame my flyaway hairs. I have not used too many face oils that worked in the same way. Although I do have to be careful not to overuse it. If I do it makes my hair look greasy.

They also claim this product is not “comedogenic”. Meaning it does not cause those dreaded blackheads by blocking the pores in your skin. It feels really nourishing and soaks into the skin well.

If you did not already notice, I think this product is fantastic. And, I would totally purchase it again.

Farmacy Beauty has an entire “honey” infused line to meet all your needs. The line includes a Farmacy honey potion mask (buy from Sephora), Farmacy honey cleansers (Purchase or read reviews here), Farmacy honey glow serum, and Farmacy honey eye cream (See here). Shop all these products below!
