Medical Medium Diet: How I am Curing POTS Syndrome

Foods I avoided:

Dairy (including eggs), Gluten, Pork, Farmed Fish, MSG, Natural Flavors, Artificial Flavors, Artificial Sweeteners, Citric Acid, Canola Oil, Soy.

Why these foods specifically? Because Anthony Williams The Medical Medium claims they feed bad bacteria and viruses. For more information about the foods to avoid read here. 

Foods I added:

  • Wild blueberries (different from regular blueberries)
  • Freshly squeezed OJ
  • Ginger
  • Turmeric
  • Cilantro
  • Spirulina 
  • Barley Wheat Grass powder
  • Celery
  • Celery juice 

My ‘Medical Medium Diet’ daily routine (when not traveling):

Morning:

Celery juice 32 ounces first thing in the morning, before food. Wait 20 minutes before eating anything.

Note – He recommends anywhere from 16-32 ounces daily. I was SO SICK when I started that I started with just a few sips and slowly built up my tolerance. The point is not to shock your body. That will defeat the purpose. If you are having too strong of a reaction from celery juice you should cut back your daily amount.

Dates – as many as possible. I was so hungry during times of my recovery and I needed sugar or my body seemed to shut down. Dates worked.

Heavy metal detox smoothie – 

  • 2 cups wild blueberries
  • 2 bananas 
  • 1 cup OJ (freshly squeezed) – if you don’t have OJ use water.
  • 1 cup Cilantro
  • 1 tsp barley grass juice powder 
  • 1 tsp spirulina 
  • 1 small handful of Atlantic dulse

Herbal tea (sipped throughout the day – add lemon or lime – Rosehips Tea, Lemon Balm Tea, Spearmint Tea, Chamomile Tea

Another Juice – cucumber, apple

Lunch and dinner 

  • Steamed potatoes
  • Salsa
  • Spinach
  • Vegetables
  • Steamed Brussels sprouts
  • Steamed broccoli
  • Steamed asparagus
  • Spaghetti squash 
  • Tomato sauce
  • Avocado
  • Smoothies

Evening

Another smoothie (on a perfect day) & Cucumber, apple juice.

Snacks throughout the day –

  • Dates
  • dried mangoes
  • Apples
  • Celery sticks & dates (One of the combinations he suggests for adrenal fatigue.)
  • Celery sticks & almond butter

Medical Medium Supplements:

All supplements you buy need to be alcohol free and free from natural flavors, citric acid and other common.

I did not start with all of these. I started with b-12 (which I was already told to take from a doctor – but switched because the brand I bought had natural flavors in it and alcohol).

  • Zinc – 2 dropper fulls daily
  • B-12 – 1 dropper full daily
  • L-lysine (added later)
  • Ester-C (added in later)
  • B-12 with folate – 2 daily (I was already taking this per doctor’s request)
  • Lemon Balm tincture – 4 dropper fulls daily

I believe everyone reading this that is searching for answers should take this to their doctors, please do not take my word for any of this. I am not a doctor and am only sharing things that have worked for me personally.
